Full screen playback for conference
I have a client requesting that I shoot b-roll of a contest they’re sponsoring in the afternoon, and the video will subsequently be used as wallpaper video for an awards dinner in the evening. I’m using a full size DVCam to obtain the best image and will be editing on site using a MacBook Pro, FCP 5.1.4 and an external hard drive.
My question concerns playback. I only have about two hours between the end of the contest and the dinner. I’ll be able to ingest and edit during breaks in the afternoon. Can I use the full screen playback mode in FCP to send the video into a house system that’ll distribute it over a network of plasma screens? I’m trying to eliminate as many steps in the process and eliminate any rendering times or compression times. Thanks.
