  Simple Cross Dissolve Issue. . .

  I am in the middle of making a short film and am having trouble figuring out how to use the cross dissolve film transition. Every time I click on my two video clips in the time line section I go up to Effects into video transitions and all of my selections are grayed out. What am I doing wrong? There is a simple solution, but I honestly I can’t find a way around it! Thanks!

  Make sure you’ve clicked on the edit point to select it, not on the clips themselves.
