  Cut Marks on Time Line

  I’m an AVID editor who is transitioning to FCP so bare with me.

  Is it possible to make cut marks on the time line like you would using add edit in avid? I’m not talking about cutting actual video, but rather just dividing the timeline up with cuts.

  Sorry – not sure what you mean…

  Hitting BB (b for blade…) lets you cut down the entire timeline regardless of how many tracks you have.

  Is that what you mean?
