  Registering lines of type in the text program

  I am fairly confidant this is a basic question that belongs in this forum.

  Does the text program in Final Cut Pro allow you to resister lines of type from page to page? It seems hit or miss to me. I seem to have only found a center -left – or right orientation to begin lines of type and if I want to start a line of type at the top of the page I adjust it within the motion tab. Is there a better way to do this.
