How do I export my raw HD footage from FCP to be viewable on a PC that uses ADOBE PPro. Also I don’t want to lose any quality, well I mean I don’t want it to look like trash once I export and open it in my PC.

I am told it was shot HDV 1080i60. I didn’t shot it so I am just getting an answer from the guy who did the filming. If HDV 1080i60 doesn’t clearly answer your question please let me know what to ask my guy.

btw, I’m a huge fame of PHOTOSHOP CS for Nonlinear Editors…even as I type this your book and the 2 disc DVD set you made sit next to my monitor ready at all times! Thanks Richard

Thanks… we have lots of free videos at photoshopforvideo.com (book is also revised now for 3rd Edition).

With HDV it depends how you captured it….

If you captured with Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) not going to work on a PC.

If you did Native HDV… may work if you have QuickTime installed on PC

I woudl do a test clip and see what happens.

Do you have PP CS3 for Mac?
