Final Cut Pro Demonstration Video
I have just set up a Final Cut Pro Studio suite at the record company I work for. My boss is keen to see a demonstration of all the things that are possible with the editing suite. As I am new to using the Final Cut package, I wondered if there is some kind of 5 min demonstration to save me trying to edit one together. So far I have only found tutorials that talk in detail about various areas, but i wonder if there is a broad overview – maybe something to music that shows the various filters/video effects one after each other etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. All the best, Sarah

This is not what Final Cut Studio is all about, applying effects and filters. It’s about having a very professional editing system that give you the ability to prepare projects for anything from the Internet to feature films. If you just want something to apply filters, then iMovie would suit those needs just fine.
If you want to show your boss something, then watch NBC’s “Scrubs,” the movie “JarHeads,” Food Network HD’s “Good Eats,” and many many other programs and films that have been edited with Final Cut Pro.
Never confuse editing abilities with filters and effects. An editor tells a story.
