I labeled some clips, then changed my mind on what would be labeled in color, so changed the clip label back to None. But when I edit with those clips, they still have the color label in my sequence. How can I remove the color labelling from clips in my sequence?
    thanks

I just tested your problem and could not recreate it. When I change the color label of one of my clips it changes in the sequence as well. Are you still having this problem? If so, what version of FCP are you using?

I’m using FCP 5.1.4. Could it be because I have my sequence in one project and my footage in another? I need to do this for file size reasons. Can you think of a way that I can get the color change to carry over?
    Thanks!

    That is the problem….

Select all the clips in your timeline.. right click and access the label menu
