  log and capture window: Final Cut 5.1 time code good but video and audio not in sync

  Hey gents,

  In the log and capture window, after looking at it again. The time code is in sync with the deck ( camera) but the video and audio are a little off. I restarted it again and agin and i’m getting the same result.

  What to do?????

  Possible solutions:

  1. Watch capture on an external monitor.
  2. Change playback offset in user of system settings from 4 to 0

  Without knowing your config it’s hard to answer this question. Generally, while capturing with FCP there is a delay on the monitor,but it has ben this way since day one.
