  Rendering issues

  I am having problems rendering. When I select Render All in the sequence nothing happens. In the time line abouve the clips that need rendering the color is a light green. Also, when I try and export the sequence “general error” pops up on the screen. I am assuing this happens because the clips have not been rendered. What am I doing wrong? I have also made sure that all of my permissions on my external drive to read and write thinking that may have been an issue but there is no change. Please help!

  I have seemed to clear up my rendering problem but I still get the “general error” message when I try to export my sequence as an MPEG-4 and a “Codec error” when I try to export as a quick time movie. Any ideas?
