    hello,

I am a self trained editor on FCP and have been working on it for the past 8 months..now recently, whike editing a video i realised that the filmming crew did not pay much heed to the surrounding noise…

hence there is a lot of unwanted sound like traffic, cieling fan, wind etc..

i wud like to knw which are the best audio filters to nullify the background sound..

    thank you

I don’t do a lot of audio sweetening, but I know that by using SoundTrack Pro, you can sample an audio noise and then filter it out. It might even be worth upgrading to FCS2 if you haven’t already because Apple made some great improvements to STP in it.
