  Snap in/out

  Hi

  Is there a one button press to chop off the head/tail of a clip in FCP similar to the trim head/tail button on Avid or snap in/out on the DS Nitris?

  You mean to bring change the out or in point to the the playhead’s location?

  Place your playhead where you want the edit. Select the end (or beginning) of the clip and hit E on the keyboard.

  Let us know if you meant something else.
