    I wrote a couple of days ago about exporting from FCP to Motion. Rather than save the exported clips to a file in the directory, I saved them to the desktop and for some reason this worked. Obviously thats a lousy workflow so if anyone can shed any light as to why that would happen, I would appreciate some advice.

    My edit on a Macbook Pro Core Duo 2ghz. I store a lot of FCS templates etc on an external HD. For what its worth, I didnt use that drive to save the files to initially.

    Why export? Why not just send the sequence or clips from it to Motion?
