  Issues installing FCP

  I am trying to install FCP 5.1 Universal Cross Grade and I am getting this error.

  Licensing error: The liscense file will not be written
  to disk because the user does not have enough
  priviledges.

  I click contine and it comes through the whole install process, but when I launch FCP it then states

  Licensing Error:

  This application cannot continue because licensing
  data is corrupt

  I think this maybe system related and not a software issue? not sure please help thanks

  What serial number are you using?

  Have you ever purchased a copy of FCP?

  Yes I purchased version 4 and sent in for the cross grade, instructions say use the new serial number that came in the cross grade pack.
