  FCE wont recognize dv camera

  final cut express shutsdown when you go to capture when camera is attached.

  Powerbook G4 10.4.3
  Cannon 8mm

  There’s not enough information here. There’s no such thing as Cannon 8mm. Give full specs on your computer, your drives, the camera, how everything’s connected, settings on the media, and settings in FCE. Without specifics there’s no way any one can help you.
