    Hi,

My friend was helping with logging and accidentally only captured one audio track. I deleted the media and am trying to figure out how to recapture both audio tracks without relogging. A tutorial I found told me to right click on the offending audio column, but when I do that it says “no shortcut”. I know there’s a simple answer to this problem that probably comes up a lot. If anyone knows you’re a lifesaver. I’m working with FCP 5

What I did when I was in the same situation was rightclick/control click the clip and then offline it (delete the media from the drive)

then I went to file create new offline clip and manually set the in and out points to match the old clip… the last step is to recapture the
newly created offline clip (after having corrected the capture settings)and then finally delete the original clip.

I believe the reason I took this approach was because Final Cut just
wanted to recapture what had been offlined (one video and one audio track)Hence, I just created a brand new offline clip.

I’m sure that there is more then one solution to this problem but this is the only one that I remember using.

    Good luck,
    AnDy
