I just got final cut 5.0.1, running on a mac OS X Version 10.4.8. It has a a 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor and 5 GB memory. Anywho, my problem is that when I am capturing there is no video or audio preview. Is there a secret button or setting I’m not finding? Is the problem bigger than this? It seems like too simple a problem to be posting here, but I can’t seem to figure it out…. Thanks, -Derek

Have you tried the “refresh AV device” option?

I could not find the refresh a/v device. What window is it under? Any other ideas? I tried reinstalling quicktime but that did not do anything.

It should be under the View menu, down near the bottom. If it’s not, it may not be in that version. I can’t remember when it was introduced.

    All the best,

    Tom
