• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  import DV file

  I am new to Mac and Final Cut Pro. I have DV footage that has been digitized on a windows machine. How can I import these DV AVI files into Final Cut Pro without going back and digitizing the material again from the original DV tapes?

  Hi,

  You would need to use a third-party software to do the translation between .avi and quicktime .mov
  Cleaner & Flip4Mac are two that I know of. But you probably would need to pay for the software. Plus it take 2x-3x longer than digitizing the footage.
