  Capture Problems with FCEHD

  I am having some capture problems with FCE. I got to capture see the VTR ok in the Capture window everything looks good and I can control the deck via computer but then I go to capture and nothing happens. I mean absolutely nothing. It doesn’t capture, it doesn’t freeze, it doesn’t do anything but stay on the screen that is right before hitting capture now. I work in a lab and this is happening on one other computer and I can’t find a cause or fix anywhere. Any suggestions?

  You put the deck or camera into play and then press the Now button. Nothing at all happens? Have you tried trashing your preferences?

  It might be helpful to have full specs on your computer, OS, QT version, FCE version, drives, camera or deck, how everything is connected and what settings are on the media and what settings you’re using in FCE.
