• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Interlacing Problem.

  New to Final Cut.

  I’m importing Single Field Animation Quicktimes into a project and am experiencing some ugly looking interlacing. Re Encoded the QT’s dual field and am still experiencing the interlacing. Tried the De-Interlace effect with no luck.

  Any ideas what I can try?

  QT’s are exported out from an Avid Media Composer ABVB 7.24
  FCP 4.0 system. dual 1.25 G4 SilverBullet. OSX 10.4.6

  ABVB is upper field… while rest is lower…. ABVB will not output progressive…

  I would suggest using a media conversion preset in Compressor, and telling it to remove fields

  Or try offsetting animations one pixel in Motion tab
