I’m working in an easy setup HD 720p24 sequence. I’m still to export a still using qucktime conversion to a jpeg. The project is in 16:9 ratio. When I pbring the jpegs into photoshop they are 4:3. Any advice?

How are you viewing them in Photoshop? Have you set the pixel aspect ratio to the correct settings for your still file?

I haven’t done anything to the pixel ratio in photoshop. I have exported a still image jpeg from FCP sequence and then just tried opening them in photoshop.

Do not do this if you are using CS or CS 2

Just choose Image > Pixel Aspect Ratio > Widescreen (1.33)
