  need help with freeze frames

  I need to make freeze frames live from my video camera copy stand, without making a clip. I am seeing the camera output in the Log and Capture window, but when I go Modify/Make Freeze Frame, it’s grayed out. I’m very new at FCP and would appreciate any help.

  FCP won’t grab a freeze frames. What resolution do you need? You can grab a freeze through iChat. Try using a still camera and then importing the stills from the digital camera. Or try…
