Let’s say you capture a clip — both video and audio. When you want to put the clip into the timeline, you only want the video by itself — or the audio by itself. Is there a way to delete video or audio while the clip is in the viewer window, instead of dragging to the timeline, unlocking tracks and deleting the unwanted material there? In Media 100, for example, you can delete tracks in the edit window by un-checking a box.

not really but by deselecting the target track in the timeline you can only cut in what ever part you want from the source clip, V A1 or A2 individually.
