  dissolves between still photos

  When I add a cross dissolve between still photos, I get a jumping effect. What am I doing wrong?

  Have you rendered the dissolves? Are you looking at the output on a video monitor?

  You may also have to render the incoming and outgoing shots. You see these Jumps if stuff is not rendered.
