i exported a fcp sequence into Quick time and noticed that the default reading for the file was that it would be opened through FCP. i changed that default to Quick time. but when i came back to FCP all my media files were offline and i cannot reconnect as the files are grayed out. what can i do? HELP.

Did you by any chance select to use quicktime as the default option for these file types? Maybe that has upset it.

In terms of the reconnect, are you doing it manually, and unchecking the match exact name only box?
