I’d like to get advise about a technical issue. I’m about to buy a new hard drive array, currently using Atto PCI UL3D scsi output to a Huge 600GB array, am looking at a newer compatable 800GB array with 400GB replacement drives,…do you have any suggestions…more storage, less money, faster I/O?

More storage is always better. As for price it depends on your tech support and technical knowlege. I build all my own boxes. I just don’t do Xserve and that advanced stuff.

But it all depends on what you edit. HD,SD,DV? If your editng DV those are overkill. SD it sounds like your on track. HD, haven’t got a clue!

    Hope this helps-
