  No Sound playing off timeline

  I’ve captured footage, now when I put it in the timeline and play it, it plays with no sound. Only way I can get sound is to render first, which I want to avoid doing for time/space issues? Used to Adobe, where it plays fine straight off the timeline with no render. Any suggestions..? Cheers 🙂

  Sorry, have worked out problem, clip i was using to test was captured in imovie. tried on clips captured with final cut and are fine.
