I need to send a file to audio post production, but AE seems to be mixing the left and right channels together. Where do I find an audio setting that will allow discreet audio output, that is channel one outputs to channel one, and channel two outputs to channel two without mixing these together.

Sorry, not directly — that’s more of an NLE/audio editor thing. AE is showing its roots as a compositor. Usually the audio mix is done outside of AE.

But of I had to do it in AE, I’d apply the stereo mixer effect, panning, then render (or Export) each channel as a separate file.

    Anybody else?
