So, I am using Compressor 2 and FCP 5.0.4 and I’m trying to export the video to Compressor eventually get it onto a dvd.

Here’s the workflow: exporting a QT movie from FCP, video only, self contained and using compression markers. Exporting audio using the Audio to AIF command.

Importing it into Compressor, selecting fastest encode 150 min. 4:3 for the video and Dolby (auto) for the audio.

The problem is that i keep getting a “cannot submit batch unable to connect to background processes” message.

I know this is an old system but I use it for some volunteer work and haven’t had to make a dvd for a few years. If anyone can remember the workflow for this and help me, I would very much appreciate it.
