  New system disk – will FCP run under newer OS?

  So, the system disk said goodbye…

  I am hoping that I can install a clean 10.8 and then FCS 3.

  Will it work?

  On one of our computers we have upgraded from 10.6.8 to 10.7.5 and it seems to work just fine.

  We are using Log and Transfer in FCP and DVDSP.

  I am thinking of doing a clean 10.8 install, upgrade the OS and then install FCS.

  Or must I start with 10.6.8?

  FCS 3 will work fine under 10.8.x. It’s the next version that Compressor and Motion start not working for many people…10.9
