  Error: Out of Memory

  Every time I try to render I get this memory message. Crazy. Has never happened before. I’ve got 16GB of memory and no other apps are open. Naturally, I’m fighting a tight deadline.

  I’ve quite/re-opened; shut down/restarted but no luck.

  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

  Do you have any stills in your sequence? Are they over 4000 pixels on any side? FCP can’t deal with images over 4000 pixels.

  Do you have any H.264 or MP4 or any other non-FCP compliant codec on the timeline? What is the codec of the footage you are cutting? What are your sequence settings?
