    I’m working with footage that was shot on a Nikon d610 in final cut. When the footage was shot the setting were left on auto which isn’t too bad for the wide shots but the shots that are closer up had the ISO change during the shot. So the footage acts as though someone is turning a light on and off in the middle of the shot.

    Key framing exposure on that amount of footage would simply take too long. Is there any plug-ins or effects that I’m not aware of that can fix/even out the exposure over a two minute long clip?

    Doesn’t need to be stellar just needs to not be so distracting that it’s unwatchable.

    There is no plugin that I know of, and I have almost all the ones made for FCP 7. This is a one of those times you need to keyframe, and smack the camera op for having auto iris. NEVER EVER EVER have auto-iris EVER.
