I am producing a series of lectures and I need to generate some text as the person on screen reads it out. I tried the typewriter title generator as well as the Manifesto plug in but nothing is really doing the trick. Does anyone have a suggested plug in or built-in generator that I should use? Thanks for your help…

In post, I would just have the entire sentence already written out, and then keyframe a word-by-word reveal by keyframing the crop parameter.

That is a possible solution. It doesn’t have to be totally synced with the words. I was hoping for something to automate this since I have 48 lectures and each one has roughly 5 or 6 slides of text read…

It could be worse, but anything to save time, I get it. What about if you apply a wipe across each line of text but add a stutter effect from Motion? Then you save that and publish it to FCPX, or save it as a preset in Motion?
