  lower third alpha +

  Hi,
  I need to recreate some lower thirds in another language.
  For this I have been given:

  1. The original video in English, for reference
  2. The clean video
  3. The textless lower third video (it’s animated) over black background.
  4. The alpha channel video of (3). it is mostly white except the lower third itself, which is black with gray shades.

  This is basic stuff I know, but I’m stuck.
  I tried using the compositing modes, layering in different order, etc, But I can’t get my head around it.

  I also tried using only the luma key Effect on (3) but the results are not perfect at the semitranslucent edges.
