Can I convert my clip downloaded from Pond5 from an HD .mp4 file to ProRes for use in FPC7? I was able to convert the .mp4 to HD .avi with the “Any Video Converter” so that FPC7 will accept the file but the resolution is crummy.
Isn’t there a converter out there that will convert it straight to ProRes?

You can use Compressor, that comes with FCP7. Or MPEG Streamclip. That’s free
