  Dither dissolve issue in FCP 7

  Hello,

  Hoping I could get some advice with a problem I’m having dissolving a still image in a sequence with dither dissolve

  The still image is a 1920×1080 png title card. It shares the timeline with pro res 422 HQ

  What happens when I playback the dither dissolve at the end of the image, any white it kind of flickers and flashes. It doesn’t look natural.

  This sequence is an episode of a web series I am cutting, in all of the other episodes I use similar title cards with dither dissolves, and have no issues with them.

  Please let me know if that makes any sense.

  If any of you have experienced this and figured it out, please let me know
