    Searched the net and couldn’t find an answer to this one.

    I don’t have the “Make Sublcip” option for a clip in the viewer that has in and out marks on it. Command+U does nothing. Anyone know why? The “Make Freeze Frame” option is there.

    EDIT: fixed the above issue. I cut it into the timeline and tried to find Master clip in browser and FCP told me there is no master clip. I had it make one and then was able to load that and make my subclip.

    Still wondering about this one:

    And while I have your attention… how do you “find bin” from a clip in the viewer? I know it’s shift+F for doing it from the timeline, but not from the viewer.

    yes, Shift F from Timeline and/or viewer.

    what happens when you hit Shift F?
