  FCP 7 Media Manager Issue – not converting

  Never had this issue before. I am taking stock video into FCP 7 and then trying to change the format by going to media manager. It seems to process just fine but when I go to the new file, it is still H.264 (getting no error messages). Trying to convert an MP4 file to an Apple ProRess 422 file. It all works just fine when converting an .mov file.

  Major project deadline and not sure what the issue is. Any advice is much appreciated.

  IF FCP can’t do it, use Compressor. If that won’t work, use MPEG STREAMCLIP.
