    All,

I’m fairly familiar with ingesting video, thanks to Shane Ross mostly, but I’m confused about the audio track’s panning as below:

Two sources for my project: Sony PJ-790V (ACVHD) and iPHONE 6+.
No issues with the PJ-790 (again, thanks Shane).

In FCP 7, I’ve ingested (log and transfer) my AVCHD using Prores 422. My sequence is set up as so.
However, when I import video captured with my iPHONE 6+, there is a single ‘mono’ audio track, with a PAN of 0 (centered?)

What do I need to be doing here? Do I copy A and make a B audio track, then alter the panning to simulate ‘stereo’?

    THANK YOU in advance.

No need to copy the track unless you need more gain. Copying the track won’t make stereo (BTW,never a good idea using stereo for dialogue) just dual mono. If you do copy, keep both tracks panned center rather than one left and one right.
