  how do i open an ARRIS_0100M01.XML

  I have a job with several of these but can’t open them. What are they and how do I open them.

  Those are data files, not media files. XML is data.

  What you need to do to import is search for and download the Arri log and transfer plugin. Install it. And then use log and transfer to access the media. You’ll need the Arri footage to be in its full and complete card structure.
