  4K Export – FCP7

  Hi all,

  I shot a shot film on Black Magic (4K). I only have FCP7 and I thought I would convert to ProRes, make my edits, then reconnect to the original 4K source file. However I then realize I cannot export to 4K. Any thoughts on how I can conform to 4K from this step or any other way I can export my edit with my limited resources?

  FCP7 is limited to frames 2000 pixels wide, that’s 2K.
