  Dropped frames after stabilizing

  Hi everyone!

  I started editing in Final Cut Pro today. So far, I love it, but I’m having a problem. When I stabilize the image, the result gets what I can only describe as “dropped frames” – by which I mean that the video skips to a slightly later point in time. It’s completely random – not every few seconds or something like that – but it is always in the same spot. It has nothing to do with my processor or anything. When I “undo” the stabilization and then re-apply it, the same thing happens in the same places. When I export it, same thing.

  I wonder what’s happening, as there appear to be “bugs” in the original video files since the dropped frames keep occurring in the same places. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
