I’m editing in FCP7 and need a client monitor hooked up… but how? I can spare a USB port & the monitor has USB as well, but I need a USB to USB cable. Before I run out & get one, will that work? What other options are do I have? Thanks!

Client monitors require Video IO hardware. AJA.com, decklink.com, matrox.com. For an iMac, I hope you have a Thunderbolt port, for that’s the only one that will work. The only USB3 solutions are for PC (grrr).
