    Hi All

I’m trying to find my FCP preferences to trash. I’ve scrolled through the forums on this topic and nothing has worked, I suspect it has to do with a “User” issue but I can’t even find a library under each user. I see:

    Desktop
    Documents
    Downloads
    Movies
    Music
    Pictures
    Public

but no Library. The SYSTEM – LIBRARY only has PREFERENCE PANES and nothing about FCP

I’ve searched for “plist” , “Final Cut Pro User Data folder” , “~/Library”

I’m using FCP 7.0.3 on OSX 10.8.5 . anyone know what I’m missing. the preferences must be somewhere, I’ve been editing with fcp on this computer for months

Apple hid the user Library folder because apparently we need to be saved from ourselves…

In Finder go to ‘Go’ in the menu bar at the top of the screen and old down the “option” key. This will reveal the hidden Library folder in the menu.
