  Timeline issues in Final Cut Pro 7

  I am currently choosing selects and putting them into a sequence. At the beginning the clips were showing the thumbnail image in the timeline but now every time I put a new clip into the sequence instead of an image in the thumbnail it is just a grey square with a small cross in it. I am not sure what has happened and it is a nuisance for looking over clips in timeline. any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

  Open up your DOCUMENTS folder…and then open up the FINAL CUT PRO DOCUMENTS folder. In there you’ll see a folder called THUMBNAIL CACHE FILES. Trash the files contained within. Then relaunch FCP.
