  FCP 7 External Monitor Settings

  I’m running FCP 7 and I have a problem selecting ‘all frames’ external monitor. I select view then drop down to external video then select all frames, but it just keeps reverting to off. Does anyone out there have a solution?

  When this happens, I reboot my AJA IO, and hit view>external>refresh external devices.

  If still not working, I reboot fcp, and maybe try a different preset, then return to the one I wanted.

  Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers… The drivers on all I/O devices tend to get corrupted quite easily, especially if you have a crash or have to force a shut down of the system for some reason.
