I’ve been thrown a curve ball and need your help.

I have 240 short videos (each in it’s own sequence in FCP 7) and my client has asked that I create videos that are compatible with the Kindle Fire. According to Amazon specs: https://kindlegen.s3.amazonaws.com/AmazonKindlePublishingGuidelines.pdf I should create MP4s using h.264 codec and MP3 audio. Please see tables in pages 52 and 53 under “6.7 Video Guidelines”

Whenever I am asked to create MP4s for other jobs, I just use Compressor to create MOVs with the h.264 codec for the video and AAC for the audio. Then, I just use Streamclip to save them as MP4s. However, according to Kindle specs I must use MP3 audio but I don’t see this as an option anywhere.

I’m sure I’m not the only FCP user that has come across this issue. I hope someone can help.

    Thanks!

    Xavier
