  • which video filter for over-exposed?

    Hello everybody,

I’m trying to correct some footage in Final Cut Pro 7; it is over-exposed.
I had only 1 video light available for a scene and part of the image (the left half of the frame in which a person is sitting) is over-exposed. The skin tones and the white shirt are too white, but the background is exposed ok (red velvet curtains). What would be a good way to correct this? I tried with brightness but then the whole frame becomes dark and dull. Any tips are appreciated!
