FCP 7 Footage glitchy when ingested …
Hey all, this is my first post here so HI. I wondered if anyone can help. I’ve been editing upwards of three years and never come across this problem before..
After using Log & Transfer to ingest into FCP7 I have found that the footage looks glitchy and in some cases when I “Fit to window” it looks totally distorted !! — My frame size is 1440 x 1080 and I have set the sequence settings to match …
I have tried troubleshooting e.g ingesting through a different Hard Drive, Checking the original source footage (Fine) checking my System Settings (The same as always) and double checking the FPS
It almost looks as though it needs De-Interlacing but I’ve never had to do that at this stage and tried that anyway but to no avail
I am transferring from a 16gb 45mbps SD Card (SanDisk) and I shot on a Canon Legria HFS200 (Yes I’m no professional but learning)
Does anybody have the slightest clue what may have happened? Please Help. Thanks ….
