  Animated Explainer Video Programs

  Looking for suggestions for software
  for creating animated explainer
  videos, or explainer cartoons, like
  the kind Google sometimes uses to
  pitch products.

  Assuming I can use one program for
  basic animation and Final Cut for
  finishing.

  iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB
  OS 10.6.8
  Final Cut Pro 7.0

  Skribol is one such, but I’m not a huge fan of it. If you’re looking for something to automatically make kinetic type, that doesn’t exactly exists, however, there are plenty of A.E. and Apple motion templates out there on sites like motionvfx that have the animation built; you just replace the template media with your own and tweak to tastes.
