  FCP and Sony HXR-NX70E

  I purchased a couple of NX70’s a while back and have been happily using them with FCP 7 all but for one thing.

  When I export my final edit via Quicktime Movie, the finished file comes out jaggedy.
  I have tried all sorts of tsequence setting, but the only work around I can find, is to export to .m4v
  It doesn’t look jaggedy whilst I’m working on it and the imported source files play fine.

  Any ideas?

  I’m guessing that you shot INTERLACED, and not PROGRESSIVE. Interlaced footage looks fine on TV, and in the camera, but horrible on computer monitors. Deinterlace the footage…and shoot progressive if you can, if your delivery is going to be for the web.
